Dylan’s journey began with hands-on lab experience and a natural eye for detail. From early roles in model work and metal finishing at Pacific Dental Studio and Choice Dental Studio, he quickly rose through the ranks — not just as a skilled technician, but as a leader and innovator. By 2010, he had earned managerial roles at Smile Designs by Rego and Summit Dental Laboratory, where he expanded his expertise into quality control and dental photography.

 

In 2013, Dylan took the helm at Choice Dental Laboratory in Saint Joseph, MI, serving as president for nearly a decade. His tenure there refined his commitment to excellence, setting the foundation for his next chapter: establishing Dylan Joe Dental Studio, a space dedicated exclusively to high-end restorative cases using the latest in zirconia, Procera, and Empress systems.

 

Dylan’s educational path is equally impressive. A graduate of UCLA’s prestigious Center for Esthetic Dental Design, he completed advanced coursework under some of the world’s most respected clinicians and ceramists — including Dr. Jimmy Eubanks, Aki Yoshida, CDT, and Dr. Sascha Jovanovic. Topics ranged from occlusion and porcelain layering to implant esthetics and anterior replication techniques. His early academic background includes studies in accounting, chemistry, and art at Andrews University, blending both science and creativity — an ideal combination for dental artistry.

 

Beyond the lab, Dylan is deeply rooted in his community. As an elder at Andrews Korean Church, he teaches Bible studies, visits elderly homes, and sings in the church choir. His lifelong passion for music and service began in school, where he participated in concert choir, musical theater, student government, and athletics.

 

Today, Dylan J. Joe continues to shape smiles and lives with every case he crafts — one meticulous detail at a time. His work is not merely technical, but deeply personal.
